The Marina Piäus Zea is located in Piräus in Greece. The entrance is to the south of it and an attendant will give support with directions to a berth. The shelter is good, but a swell can develop in the outer harbour in strong southerlies. The port office is situated at the east end of the quay and the Marina Zea Piräus can arrange clearence. The Port Police office is located near the Zea Marina offices. One need to be careful by approaching the Marina Zea Piräus since it is generally very busy with ferries and commercial ships. Do not enter the commercial harbour. This marina is made up of two harbour basins, the internal harbour (Passalimani) and the external harbour (Freatida). The facilities include water and electricity (230V) at each berth, showers, laundry, WiFi, mail and fax services and the marina office can advise on arranging a wide range of repair services. Whilst the marina has a 24hr security service, some cruisers have reported theft from their boats. There is a crane on site, but it is not a suitable place to haul out. The Marina Zea Piräus is a busy place with close proximity to bars, supermarkets, restaurants, shops, banks and everything else the city has to offer. Moreover, this large-capacity marina offers moorings for super yachts up to a maximum length of 80.00m and a maximum draught of 8.00m. In accordance with environmental needs, the marina is outfitted with waste collection systems for the most common types of waste produced on a boat. Furthermore, the marina offers diving, a harbor master, weather info, bilge collection, car rental service, fire protection and medical services.
