Porto di Reggio di Calabria is located within the homonymous italian town on the island of Sicily. Little has been done to this town since the last earthquake in 1980, therefore it has a rather impoverished air. Vessels, which enter the harbor should be well protected, because of the swell there. Good fenders are advisable. The Porto di Reggio di Calabria is a noisy port as the main road and railway line runs just behind the berths. The marina provides water, fuel and electricity on the quays. A chandlery can also be found within the port area.
